The cups and saucers are built and aligned spatially within three dimensional virtual space.
We might as in the case of cups and saucers view one canvas with cups and a second canvas with saucers.
The cups in one canvas belonging to the saucers in the second canvas; coupled but separate.
The undulating canvas plane which appears to slice through these objects is mapped with imaginary asphalt. The asphalt appears to have been blown as sand across the surface, half-burying the cups and saucers in the canvas.
They have become embedded in the grip of the undulating asphalt.
They allude to the passage of time and the trail of evidence we leave behind us.
The canvas versions are 'one-offs'.
