Angela Eames operates in and/or physically through virtual space

In these new works ‘One-offs’ (a series of large square canvasses) the relationship between figure (or not-figure) and ground (or not-ground) is explored beyond ‘painting’ conventions of figure/ground through; virtual interruptions, collisions of mark-making (hand-made mark and solid modelling) and slicing of objects in the mathematical environs of the computer

Angela is in the business of searching through drawing, insistently probing space
She plays in and thro’ or somewhere thereabouts

The canvas versions are 'one-offs' and each measure 62"x62"
