"Typically, before starting a drawing, Angela Eames will have worked out a strategy to which she will adhere with great rigour. Her strategies are aimed to make visible, tangible to experience, what is invisible, assumed, or unnoticed in our daily encounters; what influence for example our own physique may have on our perception of the world around us, or how memories of our past may accumulate to become an unrecognisable entity in our day to day attitude, or again how information available to the computer may come to affect what we see when we look. As it accumulates, I think Eames will discover how independent, original and unsentimental her work really is."
(Michael Kidner,1990)

Drawings carried out whilst on residency in Vermont,1990 - Sponsored by Commodore Business Machines and Chelsea School of Art.
